Jean McElvain (Goldstein Museum of Design) is slated to talk about the evolution of denim blue jeans from working class to high fashion in "History of Hip: Denim" a Minnesota Historical Society event April 6, 2010, 7:30-9:00 p.m., at the Turf Club in Saint Paul. Ages 21 and up only; $6 ($5 for Minnesota Historical Society members).
