College of Design alum Sarah Wolbert (MArch, 2009) presents a view of rebalancing urban food systems based on her graduate design thesis. Wolbert proposes the design of detritivore and decomposition systems that eat waste products, thereby improving the security of our food supply. The presentation, "Cafe Scientifique: Waste = Food," takes place Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 7 p.m., at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis.
