Associate Dean Kate Solomonson (Architecture) and Architecture graduate student Midori Green, curators of the Goldstein exhibition, How Secretaries Changed the 20th-Century Office:
Design, Image, and Culture
, will lecture this week. The lecture, "Shaping Office Culture: Secretaries and Design, From Miss Remington to Mad Men" is on Thursday, February 18, 2010, 6 p.m., 33 McNeal Hall. Solomonson and Green explore changes in office design, technology, and visual representation through the lens of women clerical workers who contributed to radical transformation of the workplace.
