The work of modernist architect Donald Wexler (BArch, 1950) was showcased during "Wexler Weekend" in Palm Springs, CA January 22-24, 2010, timed to coincide with the his 84th birthday. Wexler's work spans over 200 structures including the Palm Springs airport, projects for Dinah Shore and Frank Sinatra, and prefabricated steel constructions such as the George Alexander Steel Houses. Wexler and more than 1,000 guests attended the festivities, which also included a screening of the documentary Journeyman Architect: The Life and Work of Donald Wexler.
