Design in 7: 7 Stories, 7 Minutes

The College of Design's Student and Alumni Board presents professionals in architecture, apparel design, graphic design, interior design, housing, landscape architecture, and retail telling seven thought-provoking, inspiring, and sometimes curious stories from the trenches in just seven minutes each.

Design in 7 features notable Twin Cities professionals including: Chuck Hermes, chief experience officer for Clockwork Active Media Systems; John Cuningham FAIA, founder of Cuningham Group Architecture; Damon Farber FASLA, president of Damon Farber Associates/Landscape Architects; Amy Michielle Freeman, owner of SoHo Exchange, Inc.; Anita Barnett FIIDA, principal with Perkins+Will; Wayne Laberda, clothing designer with Target; and Bill Mague, Artspace portfolio director.

Thursday, April 15, 2010, 7 p.m., Weisman Art Museum. $20 general admission (free to current College of Design students). Hors d'oeuvre reception follows; cash bar. Advanced registration is required.
