Rob Forbes, founder of Design Within Reach, will speak at the University on April 16, 2010, 5 p.m., Cowles Auditorium, Humphrey Institute. In 2007, Forbes left the company he founded to launch Studio Forbes with the intention of bringing attention to good design. He is also currently launching Public, a line of urban bicycles. The event is sponsored by the University's Department of Art and the American Craft Council. Free admission.
