Turman profiled in Star Tribune

Adam Turman (BS Design Communications, 1999) is profiled by Rebecca Lang writing for the Star Tribune. Artist and screenprinter Turman, of St. Louis Park, is best known for his prints of Twin Cities icons including the Grain Belt beer sign, the Ritz Theater, and the Gold Medal flour sign. Lang reports he has "whittled down his poster motifs to what he calls the 'four B's' -- bikes, beers, babes, and burgers." But it's the Twin Cities icons that have sold so well that he's planning a national road trip to capture icons in other localities.

Turman has upcoming shows at FrameUps Gallery (solo), ArtCrank (collective), and Art-a-Whirl (collective).
