College of Design undergraduate Architecture students Julia Hill, Kevin Lang, and Andy Cleven are featured in "Going with the flow," a UMNews feature by Rick Moore about the University's new Gopher Ranger program. Begun this spring, the Gopher Ranger program connects undergraduates to educational and experiential opportunities within the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA) -- the National Park Service entity that includes portions of the river flowing through the Twin Cities campus. Hill, Lang, and Cleven are working on an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) project under the direction of Leslie Van Duzer (Architecture) and Pat Nunnally (Landscape Architecture; Institute on the Environment) to visually connect the area between the Mississippi River and the Mill City Museum near St. Anthony Falls.
