Imagining America 2011 conference listening sessions

The University of Minnesota and Macalester College are holding listening/discussion sessions to share information about the Imagining America national conference taking place in the Twin Cities, Fall 2011. Imagining America is a consortium of colleges and universities -- including the University of Minnesota and Macalester College -- committed to public scholarship and practice in the arts, humanities, and design. The consortium supports campus-community partnerships that contribute to local and national civic life while furthering recognition of the value of public scholarship and practice in higher education itself.

The conference organizers are interested in discussing the conference and receiving feedback about possible themes and how the conference might serve college/university professionals and community partners. Snacks will be served.
