CURA Housing Forum to feature Roberta Goodman and her film Empress Hotel

The University's Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA) and the College of Design are co-sponsoring a special Housing Forum on Friday, September 17, 2010, 11:15 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Honeywell Auditorium, Carlson School. Roberta Goodman will screen her film Empress Hotel, about the lives of the residents of a unique transitional housing project in San Francisco. The event is free of charge and open to the public, but registration is required either online or by phone at 612-625-9040.

Earlier in the day, Goodman will be a guest speaker in HSG 2401 Introduction to Housing which meets from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in 146 McNeal Hall. The community is invited to join in this informal discussion with Goodman as well.
