MNSAH student symposium features two CDes presenters

The Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians presents its fifth annual Student Symposium on the Built Environment on Saturday, September 25, 8:30 am to 1 p.m. in Rapson Hall. Of the 10 student presenters, two are from the College of Design. The event is free and open to the public.

Marisa Fredrickson, a third-year BS Architecture student, will present "Making Downtown: Nicollet Mall's Collaborative Design Response for a Vital City Center" at 9 a.m. She will be followed by MArch student Jilian DeCoursey speaking on "A Trend-Setting Church for a Trend-Setting Town: Society, Spirituality, and Suburbanization in the Design of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Edina. Minnesota.

Other presenters include students from the University of St. Thomas; University of Wisconsin, University of California Los Angeles, City University of New York, and University of Delaware.
