Natalie Ross, third-year Master of Landscape Architecture student, was one of eight MLA students from across the US selected for an internship to "green" the grounds of the US Mission in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ross and the Greening Geneva team held a two-week charette, dividing into three workgroups to come up with proposals for the entire site. The ideas were presented to the mission, including the ambassador to the United Nations. The workgroups then unified and worked on the best ideas, creating detailed designs for each. Ross was in charge of drainage and parking as well as the master plan.
