Teach for America info session September 29, 2010

Teach For America is a national nonprofit committed to eliminating the achievement gap that occurs due to the varying educational opportunities between low and high income areas in our public schools. The organization was ranked as the seventh best place to launch a career by Businessweek. Teach for America recruits outstanding students from all majors and backgrounds to lead a classroom for two years in low income communities. Teachers get full salaries and benefits, as well as a strong network of support to assist them along the way.

A Teach for America info session will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010, 6 p.m., in 20 Willey Hall.
