The Italian magazine AND featured Interior Design senior Andrea Mayer's project in an article, "Designing in Florence," in its August 2010 issue. Mayer's project was one of two interior design projects featured from Kent State University's Florence Program. The workshop's theme: To re-propose a path within a hypothetical home that, originating its idea from an historic urban texture, is capable of re-introducing the cultural variety, sensorial wealth, and stimulus of a city like Florence.
