Sadelle Schroeder, writing for the Minnesota Daily, covers the College of Design's mentor program that pairs students with professionals. Mentors are matched with students, one-to-one, as a way to assist students with career exploration, networking, project critiques, and skill building based on student needs and interests. The mentor program's annual kick-off event took place on Monday, November 1, 2010 in the McNamara Alumni Center. Schroeder reports 210 students in the college took advantage of the optional mentor program for third- and fourth-year undergraduates this year.
