Teach for America, the national nonprofit committed to eliminating the achievement gap that occurs due to the varying educational opportunities between low and high income areas in our public schools, has set its next application deadline for Friday, December 17, 2010. Teach for America recruits outstanding students from all majors and backgrounds to lead a classroom for two years in low income communities. Teachers get full salaries and benefits, as well as a strong network of support to assist them along the way.
