Dwyer receives AIA Young Architects Award

DwyerS_200.jpgSteven Dwyer (MArch) AIA, LEED AP, of HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has received the national 2011 AIA Young Architects Award. Sponsored by the American Institute of Architects, the award acknowledges individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their careers.

As a senior project designer, Dwyer has focused on cultural, educational, and non-profit clients since joining HGA in 2000. He has contributed to several design-forward projects, including the national AIA Honor Award-winning Bigelow Chapel for the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in New Brighton, Minnesota; the Biomass Research and Demonstration Facility at the University of Minnesota-Morris; the Visual, Performing and Communication Arts Complex at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California; and the Minnesota Zoological Garden "Heart of the Zoo" Entry Pavilion in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
