Hadjiyanni workshop accepted for EDRA conference

Tasoulla Hadjiyanni's (Interior Design) workshop on "The intersections of housing and health - Implications for teaching, research, and policy" has been accepted for the Environmental Design Research Association's 42nd annual conference to be held in May. The workshop brings together nine academics and practitioners from five institutions and covers issues such as childhood obesity, neighborhood parks, green housing initiatives, and cultural aspects of space.

Hadjiyanni will also present her paper, "The WeWu interactive surveillance project: An interdisciplinary pedagogical model," at EDRA. The paper draws from her co-teaching of five Electrical and Computer Engineering seniors in EE 4951 - Senior Design Project, co-lead with Nikos Papanikolopoulos (Computer Science) and Diane Willow (Art) in Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
