Lance LaVine (Architecture) is overseeing a hands-on workshop this week for graduate students in the School of Architecture to provide the city of Minneapolis with a new vision for the historic Nicollet Mall. In the week long workshop at the IDS Center's Crystal Court, students will work to create a vision of the mall as a public space for people to congregate and one that makes Minneapolis a top city to live in. Workshop participants will present and discuss their visions starting at 12 pm on Friday, March 11, 2011.
