On Saturday, April 9, 2011, the University of Minnesota Freedom by Design chapter will host their 3rd Annual Art Auction. The silent auction will take place in the Rapson Hall Courtyard from 2-6 pm, with time to pick up art until 6:30 pm.
Freedom by Design is the community service program of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS). The group works on small-scale design build projects for low income disabled and elderly people in the Twin Cities community, with the goal of providing safety, comfort, and dignity in their lives. To learn more about Freedom by Design past or current projects, visit their blog or website.
Items for the auction are still being accepted. If you'd like to donate, contact Maria Kennedy at email@example.com. All proceeds from the auction will be used for materials to complete Freedom by Design projects.
