The Goldstein Museum of Design (GMD) will host its annual Dig Design Garden Party fundraiser on May 20, 2011 at 5:30 pm in the HGA Gallery (Rapson Hall). This year's Garden Party theme is "A Festive Night in India" to coincide with the GMD's upcoming exhibition "Beyond Paisley and Peacocks: Handcrafted Textiles of India and its Neighbors" opening June 10, 2011.
The party will include entertainment by Ragamala Dance, a silent auction, henna painting by Ancient Traditions Mehndi, sari draping, and hors d'oeuvres by Taste of India. Tickets are $50 for general admission and $25 for students. Purchase tickets by calling 612-624-7434.
