MLA alumni receive Environmental Initiative awards

Sam Geer, Michael Keenan, and Brian Pynn (all MLA, 2010), the staff of Metro Blooms, received two 2011 Environmental Initiative awards through the Minnesota Environmental Initiative (MEI) on May 26, 2011.

MEI awarded Metro Blooms with the Environmental Education award for their Powderhorn Lake Neighborhood of Raingardens project and the Natural Resource Protection and Restoration award for the Go Blue! Diamond Lake Community Makeover.
