College of Design / Habitat for Humanity Zero-Energy Home Dedicated

040.JPG009.JPGLate last month, the College of Design's zero energy home (ZEH) with Habitat for Humanity was dedicated in Princeton, Minnesota. Over the last year, two School of Architecture classes - a semester-long architecture seminar and a six-week M Arch studio module - researched, designed, refined and developed two complete sets of ZEH construction documents that fit the HfH model of decent, safe, and affordable housing. The newly dedicated Princeton home began construction in June.
