Jeff Crump (Housing Studies) Presents at the Association of American Geographers

Jeff Crump, Associate Professor of Housing Studies, presented "The Scandalous Alleys of Capitalism: Engels and the U.S. Housing Crisis" at the recent Association of American Geographers meeting in New York City. His work was part of a series of sessions celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of Fredrich Engels article on "The Housing Question".


The Housing Studies program teaches students about shelter and its multiple dimensions, focusing on skills that will allow students to contribute to the housing field. Coursework in the program includes the social and behavioral sciences, public policy, planning, economics, and technology.
