Robert Feyereisen (B.Arch '93) Designs App for Architects & Engineers

Robert Feyereisen (B.Arch '93), president of Feyereisen Studios, a professional Architecture Model Building in Minneapolis, MN, developed a mobile app called Quickscale to help architects, designers, and engineers determine scale when creating architectural drawings or models. It was featured in the October 2012 issue of Architecture MN.

"I have been working with architects for years and needed a quick way to calculate how big an architect's model will be at multiple scales simultaneously and on the spot," explains Feyereisen. "With this app you can enter your site or building dimensions and get 49 model sizes instantly. It makes deciding what size your model will be easy."

He previously invented a more complicated version of Quickscale using an Excel spreadsheet. "I have been patiently waiting for years to work with the right app developer," says Feyereisen. "We launched in June, so sales are just starting to take off."

Download the app for $0.99 here.
