Redesigning the Minneapolis Institute of Arts African Art Galleries
Screen Shot 2013-01-04 at 2.41.46 PM.pngCass Gilbert Professor-in-Practice Vincent James and Adjunct Professor Jennifer Yoos (B.Arch '91) will discuss plans for their redesign and renovation of the African Art Gallery at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) on Saturday, January 26 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. They will be joined by MIA Curator of African Art, Jan-Lodewijk Grootaers, in a conversation moderated by Alex Bortolot, MIA content strategist and an African art specialist.

James and Yoos, along with Nathan Knutson (M.Arch '95), are principals at VJAA, which received the 2012 Architecture Firm Award from the American Institute of Architects.
