Leadership is something that everyone will continue to carry on with their live. Without leadership, the person will just have nothing to linger on. Leadership is the power to let a person think back of the past and carry it on into the future.

Week 14
A leader should not be afraid to express what she or he is thinking. A leader should not be a shame of what he or she is. A leader should not make fun of his or her followers. And a leader should act like a leader.

Analysis:
I came to this definition after the presentation that everyone gave. Everyone stood in front of the class and did not think of what they look like in front of others and just act like their own self. They were not afraid of what others think of them and express their own feeling for the poem. The difference for this week and last week is that this week is the summary of what a leader should be. Last week was something very specific that a leader should carry on with his or her life. I believe that this week definition is what I will carry on with my life forever.

Week 13
Leadership is something that everyone will continue to carry on with their live. Without leadership, the person will just have nothing to linger on. Leadership is the power to let a person think back of the past and carry it on into the future.

Analysis:
The difference between this week and week 11 is because in week 11, leadership is the responsibility of humans to change and accept everyone. week 11 has nothing to do with how a leader should think back and use that knowledge to go forward. In week 13, it is that the leader uses the past and go forward. The similarity is that the week 13 talks about using the past for the future, and in week 11, the leader should accept everyone. So by learning from the past, the leader should accept everyone. I came to this conclusion after the discussion from my other class. The past is knowledge that a person should use for the future.

a great leader is a person with the ability to make great judgement. A leader who is able to find the true quality of a person by looking deeper into who the person is not just by looking at the person's appearance.

Week 11
It is human nature to be racist, to be prejudice, but it is also the responsibility of humans to change that nature to accept everyone that s/he encounters. A good leader is a leader that is able to lead everyone.

Analysis:
Last week definition is about a leader making good judgement on the followers by seeing the follower's inner and not their appearance on the outside. This week's definition is about the leaders not able to resist the nature of being racist and prejudice. What these two have in common is that it is about judging others. what the differences between these two are that one is dealing with judging others about whether they are being good leaders or not and the other one is about judging people just for the sake of judging. I came to this definition for this week after I read the article by Tatum. She talked about how everyone is racist and prejudice in someway because we were ingrained by it ever since we were born.

Week 10
a great leader is a person with the ability to make great judgement. A leader who is able to find the true quality of a person by looking deeper into who the person is not just by looking at the person's appearance.

Analysis:
I came to this week definition after I read the article, "The power of thinking without thinking". For week eight definition, i talked about how the followers will adapt to the leaders and nothing about how the leaders will judge the followers. In week 10 definition, it is all about how the leaders able to find out the value of the followers. I came to this definition because Gladwell talked about the Harding disappointment. People looked at President Harding and judged that he will be a great president by his look, but it turned out that looks is not the factor that determine how great of a leader one will be.

Week 8
A leader has to be able to adapt to change the followers in the day that the followers will adapt to the leader. When followers do not change to what the leaders had to say, the leader had to in turn adapt to the followers.

Analysis:
I came to this week's definition after the reading from "The Real Reason People Won't Change". The similarity between week 7 and week 8 is that both of the weeks talk about viewing what the followers are doing. In Week 7, the leader has to step back to take in the whole picture and in week 8, the leader has to learn how to deal with their followers. The differences between the two is that week 7 does not deal with changing their followers and in week 8, the leader has to deal with adapting to the followers. I came to week 8's definition because followers are not easy in changing new leaders, as the new leaders come into play, the leaders has to adapt to the followers or change the followers to adapt to them (Keagan, R., & Lahey, L.L).

Analysis:
The differences between week 6 and week 7 is that in week 6, I only talked the leader and not the followers. In week 7, I talked about the leader and the followers. The similarity between week 6 and week 7 is that they both talked about the ability to aware their surroundings. I came to this idea for week 7 after the articles,Factors Affecting Communication Style and the article, "Get on the Balcony". This this two articles, they talked about the leader has to aware what is going on around their surroundings. in the article, Factors Affecting Communication Style, the author gave the comparison between the leader and the circus. In the circus, there are many parts, such as the music and the performers, it is like the leader, there are many parts to the leader. In the article, "Get on the Balcony", the article talked about the leader has to step back once in a while to take in their surroundings before they tackle the next step.

Leadership is the ability to handle stress. When the leader is under presses, s/he has to power to control and eliminate stress or to turn that stress from a negative to a positive affect. If stress cannot be control, the leader has the ability to turn that stress into a choke and revert back to s/he's basic learning as a leader.

Week 6:
a leader has to have the social skill. without the social skill, the leader cannot connect with its followers. Without connection to the followers, the leader cannot present the points that the followers want within the leader and it will lead to the followers deserting the leader.

Analysis:
I came to this idea after the reading from "Social Intelligence and The Biology of Leadership". "The best mechanic in a factory may fail as a foreman for lack of social intelligence" Edward Thorndlike (Goleman). That sentence sum up the whole idea of why the leader has to possess the social skill. Without the skill, the leader cannot connect to the followers. What's different about this week's definition from last week is the acquisition of social skill Vs. the ability to handle stress. The similarity that the two has is that the leader has to possess both of those skills. Without the skill to handle stress, the leader will act like a fool in front of the followers, and without the skill to connect with the followers, the leader will not know what is a fool and what is not.

Week 5:
Leadership is the ability to handle stress. When the leader is under presses, s/he has to power to control and eliminate stress or to turn that stress from a negative to a positive affect. If stress cannot be control, the leader has the ability to turn that stress into a choke and revert back to s/he's basic learning as a leader.

Analysis:
From week 3, I talked about how a leader has the skills to lead other people, but I did not talk about how that leader has the skill to lead her/himself. In week 5, I changed my leadership definition from the group point to an individual point. The reason why I changed it to this was because before a leader can lead other people, the leader has to have the ability to lead her/himself first. An example from the reading by Gladwell is when Kennedy crashed the plane. This is a good example because when a leader is under pressure, the leader has to "lead" her/himself, this means that the leader has to get a grip of what is going on around them to educate themselves before they can set an example for the followers.
