book review

I read "China and the New World Oder" by George Zhibin Gu. This was a very interesting book. My favorite line in the book is "To see 25 years of Chinese history, go to Shenzhen; for 150 years, Shanghai; for 500 years, Beijing; and for 5,000 years, Xian." The reason being is that the line made me be able to relate to the book the best. This is because I think it is very interesting that I have been to all the cities that the line has mentioned. This book has eight parts to it. Each part it takes a part of history of China and it talks about how China has interacted with the International trade. Part one talks about how China first got their tousim and how it is one ofthe reasons that the economy became so big. Part two talks about how China does business with Japan. Part three talks about how the Chinese people are controled by the government. Part four talks about the insurence agents and the banks in China ar growing. Part five talks about how the Chinese companies get bought out by the international companies and get expanded. Part six talks about in the economy, Taiwan wants to be a part of China's economy but does not want to be actually apart of China. Part seven talks about India and China 's economy are growing fast, the only thing is stopping them is one government wanting to control the other. Part eight talks about how Japan had a rough history but in the end is coming out to be a very good country with a booming economy.
