1.) Being a Finance major, I would like to know more about China's stock market. Since it was only established in the 90s it is fairly new and therefore I would like to know how it compares to the US stock market.
2.) I'm just really interested in learning more about how the Chinese conduct business. China is a major global player in the economy and I'm just fascinated by their culture and their economic growth. I can't wait to learn more about it and be able to apply it within my career!
3.) I want to learn more about the Chinese culture and "saving face." I learned about this in business communications so it will be a learning experience witnessing it firsthand. Maybe someday I will work with Chinese business partners and it will be very valuable to use the knowledge that I will be learning.
