Just a quick note to let you know that I thoroughly enjoy your thoughts and photographs. I'll be moving to Ortonville in October for a 9 month medical internship, and perhaps I could chat with you at some point about places to find good food and places off the beaten path that would be worth visiting? I do almost all of my own cooking, and come from a farming background - my family still uses a binder and threshing machine!
