A Love Once New Has Now Grown Old
The title for this post was taken from a Paul Simon song that talks about spring and summer months, the unique personalities of each, and that even though we'd like summer to last forever, inevitably everything that was once fresh and new fades with autumn's arrival. Last week I made a visit to the UofM Landscape Arboretum to absorb as much as I could of the last bits of summer. And, since the sun's relative position dictates the seasons, I like to experience each transition with a sunset at my favorite lake. Fall beings today at 4:19pm central time.
