Residency and Stuff

So, its been a long time since I've updated. Good thing I don't have any regular readers. So, I've finally submitted my ERAS application (my residency application). Did that last night, and already have interview invites from 4 places. Pretty cool. Other than that, I guess it's pretty safe to say that I'll be doing family medicine next year, since I've only submitted apps to family med programs.

Other than that...not much is new. Perhaps I'll update again soon.

Life and Death

What a crazy week. Last week Jenn Schumann had a baby. This week, Jason Fowler's brother died.

I'm not sure what to feel now, hopefully it will all be OK in the end. Prayers all around.

Busy

So, I haven't been posting much recently...Oh well. Life is good and busy. I've done a couple of rotations (primary care, interpretation of lab data).

I'm now on to my surgical sub specialities. Finished 2 weeks of ortho-surg, which was interesting, and a lot of sports med. Now, on to ENT...

One last Thing

So, I read that Mozilla had 50 MILLION downloads now. Perhaps it's old news, but I'm impressed.

The template for this page isn't exactly great for looks if there's not enough posts. So I'm adding a few to streamline it a bit.

Finals

Well, finals are upon us. I hate finals. Oh well. Not much I can do. Really, though, it's my last "true" finals. I'll have some exams later, but they don't really count do they?

Maggie wonders why I want a blog. It's mostly to tell her that I love her. And so that I can share my views with the whole wide world!
