True urban legends?

That is, urban legends which sounds as though they are false, but turn out to actually, honest, be true. Even if they did happen to a friend of a friend...

• Sending in a photograph of money after being caught by a photo-radar unit.

• Person who has personalized license plate "No Plate" gets lots of parking citations.

• Anti-seat belt advocate killed in car crash.

• A lightbulb has remained lit since 1901.

• A deer tongue up the wazoo?

• A Byrd's album was accidentally released without a title. And the similar tale of how ELO's first album didn't get a US title.

• Map Point has some weird directions in it.

• TV personality Soupy Sales (yep, it was another era) asked for kids to send him cash from their parents' wallets.

• Lyrics to the Star Trek theme.
