U2's first visit to Minneapolis

With little mention of how awful they are today. I think we all have some nostalgia for Boy, and October, and War, and wonder just how it all went wrong from there.

I gotta know, are you including Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby in examples of how "awful" they are today? Or are you just speaking about their last three studio albums? While I'll agree that the last three (starting with Pop) are not up to the same level as say War, I cannot group the majesty of Achtung Baby in any category that defines itself as awful. Just wondering...

I'd pretty much have to include Joshua Tree on as awful in my book. Achtung Baby doesn't really do anything for me either. Rattle and Hum I do play on occasion when I need to hear something more bombastic and self-centered than Wagner. "Charlie Manson stole this song from the Beatles. We're stealing it back."
