Citizens of the US would be well advised to claim to be Canadian when abroad. Although obviously it depends on what part of the world you "find yourself". Us Brits similarly would do well to work on our Kiwi dialect. Remember how there were no Germans immediately after the war; only Austrians? Pariah nation status beckons and it will take decades to live down these human rights abuses. George and Tony are fast becoming the most hated men on the planet: Don’t do the crime if you can’t wear the slime. But for the ordinary Joe that bears about as much responsibility for his country’s actions as the Man in the Moon, keep in mind your country has betrayed you, certainly not the other way around.
