The Argentinian sabre-rattling is starting to get British attention. Isles Malvinas may once again be a useful distraction for the Argentine government faced with domestic problems.

>distraction for the Argentine government
what distraction?. The media talked about a captured ship for a day and that´s all. Easy to check

We have many problems but to use malvinas as a distraction is higly improbable.
I doubt we have more planes.
BTW it is "Islas Malvinas".

Rolling Stones, U2 and all the international groups we have each week is more of a distraction, and don´t forget this is football cup year, that is enough distraction.

Maybe it is distracion for Malvina´s people, which I heard are not happy with some UK resolutions that affect them (don´t remember exactly).
BTW it is "Islas Malvinas".

Posted by: Juan at February 27, 2006 05:01 PMIslas Malvinas! I really did know that. It was an amusing article to see, but I have to assume that you're right. Anything further over the Malvinas/Falklands would be crazy.
