        <![CDATA[<p>So here's the deal: if you live in Minnesota, you have to like hockey.  There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.  You must like hockey.  If you don't you can move to the south or something.  When we have 8 months of winter a year you need to appreciate the grace of somebody deftly flipping a puck into the top corner of the goal.  Luckily, we have two extraordinary teams here in Minnesota that you can watch: the Gophers and the Wild.<br />
The Gophers are the proud sons of the U of M.  They are consistently excellent (unlike some other MN sports teams, namely both Pro and College football and basketball).  The Wild are the MN pro team, who are looking for a playoff spot this year after acquiring Pavol Demitra, along with many other free-agents this off-season.</p>]]>
