When we have 8 months of winter a year you need to appreciate the grace of somebody deftly flipping a puck into the top corner of the goal. Luckily, we have two extraordinary teams here in Minnesota that you can watch: the Gophers and the Wild.
The Gophers are the proud sons of the U of M. They are consistently excellent (unlike some other MN sports teams, namely both Pro and College football and basketball). The Wild are the MN pro team, who are looking for a playoff spot this year after acquiring Pavol Demitra, along with many other free-agents this off-season.
