Environmental Science Education Specialists Receive Awards for Teaching and Service

Two of the Campus Specialists who work with Environmental Science Education have been recently recognized by the University of Minnesota for distinguished teaching and service:

Dr. Robert Blair was awarded a 2011 University of Minnesota Outstanding Community Service Award. This prestigious award recognizes members of the University community who have made "substantial, enduring contributions to the community and to improving public life and the well-being of society."

Dr. Karen Oberhauser was awarded a 2011 The Art of Teaching Award. This award is presented annually to a faculty member who focuses on the natural resource sciences, achieves excellence in teaching, and has a positive impact on students.
