Wildlife Wing Interpreters Needed at the 2011 Minnesota State Fair
The state fair runs from August 26 through September 6, 2010 in St. Paul. We need volunteers each day. Up to two people will be stationed in the wildlife wing per shift. Shifts run 9 AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 6 PM and 6 PM - 9 PM. Sign up now to reserve one or more shifts by contacting Dawn Flinn at dawn.flinn@state.mn.us or 651-259-5344. You will be required to fill out a DNR volunteer agreement and a background check, there will be no cost to you.

Grand Opening celebration for the new Visitor Center and Fire Tower at
Big Bog State Recreation Area in Waskish, MN. The building is open 9 am to 9 pm, with activities starting at 1 pm, a short ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 pm, and a picnic with entertainment to follow.
