Library Loading Dock is Ready to Receive Deliveries
Deliveries can be made to the Library's Loading Dock beginning immediately. WARNING!! Security alarms were added to both of the exterior doors in the loading dock over the winter.
The alarms are activated 24/7. Currently Technical Services Team members are the only library staff outside of the Library Administration Team who can unlock these doors with their security fob. If either door is operated without swiping a security access device (fob or card) an alarm will be triggered. The Circulation Desk is called whenever an alarm is triggered. If no one answers at the Circulation Desk either Liz and/or the campus police are called. Campus police respond to all building alarms.
LMT has not discussed extending access to the loading dock doors to other staff yet.
