Question 7/22

After reading the beginning part of the Twitchell article, I automatically thought back to the google articles. When Twitchell talks about how the best stories can be told in a sentence or two versus having to read the whole story, it reminded me of when the authors of the google article talked about not being able to read long novels anymore. That he could barely finish a one page article on the web. Did anyone else feel that connection? I just thought it was was funny how both articles were relatable by showing that things have lost appreciation and everything is shortcut nowadays.

That's why I prefer documentaries over long articles any day! I did not make that connection initially but can see it now when you say it. I think (and this is my opinion) certain people look at reading long lavish articles or books as more of an accomplishment as opposed to watching something about the same topic. I never understood that how? Isn't the point to learn at the end of the day. Long articles lose me and documentaries engage me.
