I think the biggest value system that stuck out to me while watching Page One was Assange's. By creating wikileaks, he asserted his value system on others and clearly stated his ideas of justice and activism. His set of values is based off of the idea that everyone has a right to all kinds of information, quintessentially saying that anyone can be journalist if they so please, and that it should not be left up to the professionals because they would then have a monopoly on what is to be known (or not known to the public). This is value claim in that Assange believes it is right or ethical that the public have access to all news, rather than just the part the news industry wants to share. Whether or not his view is right is debatable.
