For my wife

In the documentary I believe Charlene used a lot of pathos in her argument. Charlene's experience with the doctors and funeral manager caused her a lot of frustration and anger. It showed the emotional aspect and played with the emotions of the audience. I believe her real life experience showed the people of Washington that there really is an equality difference and the way they are treated between homosexual couples and heterosexual couples. This documentary showed policy claim also. They were trying to pass a bill for equal rights for same-sex couples. It showed the legislature getting really heated and lots of people having an opinion. Each argument seemed very emotional for both parties. The senators each used different types of rhetoric: ethos, pathos, and logos.
