This documentary is about the ongoing debate about new versus traditional media reporting. It goes on to discuss the changes that we've had in media reporting from newspapers to the worldwide web. There are many advantages and disadvantages to online news. A disadvantage is that it can be distorted by editing a video as shown in the documentary. The clip was cut down and only showed the bad parts of the video clip and the raw footage showed what actually was happening. An advantage is that it is easily accessible. The media plays a big part in this because they perceive it how they want you to think. They also claimed that if you report false news consumers are not going to want to buy newspapers from the media source and that in turn creates a downfall in their business. The documentary shows how The New York Times has lost their appeal in the rise of new media outlets online. It shows them defending their newspaper when others try to question their credibility.
