This documentary does point out the fact that newspapers are losing popularity. In my experience, far less people are getting their news from newspapers than in the past and instead are getting their news on the Internet through their computer or even smartphone. This is probably mostly because it is much cheaper and easier than buying a newspaper everyday. Additionally, it is very easy to access multiple sources with many different stories online whereas newspapers have a limited amount of news stories each day.
This doesn't mean the end of newspapers though. Like every other company ever, newspapers will need to adapt to changing times. Every company in the history of the world had to adapt at one point or another or they went out of business. Thus the phrase "adapt or die." Newspapers have to figure out ways to stay afloat in these changing times.
