Teachers are people that we look up to in our daily lives. They provide us with information that can help us to strengthen our education. When there are allegations made against a teacher dealing with abuse it can hinder their ability to teach properly and to be the best person they can be. Because of this the L.A. Unified School District is looking into a clause in the teacher's contract stating the amount of time allegations can stay on a teacher's record. With this being said many people have these allegations written down on their file at the school. The principal might even have notes about the subject if they were in a meeting discussing the matter. They can dismiss the allegations, but they will always be on record at the school.
