Autistic man missing near White Bear Lake

Police are searching for a teenager who has autism after he went missing near White Bear Lake Thursday, according to Kare11.

Kyle Konkler, 18, left his job at the White Bear Lake Police Department Thursday. He did not arrive home. Konkler is high-functioning on the autism spectrum. Police are concerned for his safety, and they suspect Konkler may falsely believe he is in danger, according to Kare11.

Konkler is described as being 6 feet tall, 215 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was wearing a white T-shirt and black leather jacket. He also had a Minnesota Twins drawstring backpack, according to MPR.
