Last Friday, February 1, Tandem hosted its first event of spring semester, the TandemPlus Kick Off Event. Approximately 45 people attended, speaking Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Spanish, Malay, Norwegian, and English. The Kick Off included skits and demonstrations of how a good language exchange could be done, and what to do when problems arise in a language exchange. We also played Taboo and had multilingual conversation groups, and enjoyed snacks and refreshments.
