Participate in a Y Immersion Trip over Winter Break

Y Immersion works to engage college students in projects, throughout the US and internationally, in order to grow an awareness of social justice and environmental issues.

There are still some openings in trips that are taking place over winter break. These include trips to Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco, and Miami.

Come to these info sessions to find out more about this issue and to learn about current internship opportunities to help you get involved!

HECUA Information Session

There will be a HECUA Information Session tomorrow, November 17th, from 12 pm to 1 pm in the Regis Center for Art, In-Flux Room. At this Info Session, you'll hear from program faculty and past HECUA participants, and you can get your questions answered.

Leadership Minor Coffee Talk

each other a little better.

Volunteer with Project Homeless Connect

Project Homeless Connect has a wonderful volunteer opportunity on December 7th for the University community to help Hennepin County's homeless population. Project Homeless Connect is a one-stop-shop of services to help people living in shelters or on the streets. Instead of asking the homeless to go to multiple places all over town to access services, Project Homeless Connect events bring these services to one central location for one day.

Teaching In and Out of the Classroom - Information Fair

You'll get information about classroom teaching AND nontraditional options like teaching English abroad, community education, and AmeriCorps. You can also learn about internships and volunteer work that let you sample the teaching profession.

The fair is Tuesday, November 3rd from 1 to 3 pm in the Regis Center for Art, Influx Room.
