Peer Advisors are responsible for advising U of M students interested in volunteering and internships in non-profit and government agencies; establishing/maintaining relationships with community organizations; recruiting and advising students in the Community Engagement Scholars Program; and conducting info session on the Scholars Program. Prior community involvement or volunteer experience is required. Experience in peer advising, recruitment, and conducting informational sessions, or work with non-profit organizations highly desirable. Past participation in a service-learning course(s) a plus.
